I am potentially the most irritable person on the face of this rock we call Earth.
Why am I this way?
Its probably because God hates me.
Again, you're probably asking why?
...I couldn't really give you a solid answer.
Maybe it has something to do with that time I set that bible on fire.
OF COURSE IT WAS ON ACCIDENT.
But that's besides the point.
Not only am I easily irritated, but I get angry over the STUPIDEST things.
I turn into a huge jerk for the pettiest reasons.
Where there maybe 5000 legitimately problematic things for me to get frustrated about, I chose tacky, overly successful photos on Facebook.
Of course you're wondering why.
That's your job.
STOP QUESTIONING ME.
I SWEAR I'LL EXPLAIN.
Let me give you a scenario.
Here you are. It's a cold, rainy, and miserable Saturday morning and you feel it's necessary to get on Facebook.
***SIDE NOTE: I don't know about you, but I go on Facebook to see what is going on with my friends.***
I'll be just scrolling through my feed when I see this.
WHY WOULD YOU LIKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS? STAHP!
When I see things like this, I am tempted to punch through my computer screen.
I don't understand why people would let something like this circulate through the internet.
Four million people have already liked it, so why do you feel the need to jump on that band wagon?
First off, God is not going to punish you because you didn't like the picture.
Secondly, I know you don't hate cancer.
Thirdly, give me one good reason why the creator couldn't use the word "you" instead of "u".
"Aric, nobody cares what you think. You're just another complaining teenager on the internet."
Yes. I know what am.
I understand how the internet works.
I know for a fact that there are a lot of smart people on the internet, but unfortunately the stupid ones are louder, because stupidity sticks out.
I'm not entirely sure why I get so frustrated over these petty things. Maybe it's just think that after 8+
years of education that an individual should understand how to correctly spell things.
I also expected people to use a little common sense, and I suppose that that was my mistake, but honestly guys, let's be honest. We can all live happily without that nonsense on our Facebook news feeds.
Perhaps if we banned people for posting stuff like that the world would be a better place.

I enjoyed how personalized your editorial is and how you gave your input on just about everything--a lot of voice is shown.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog. It is very sporatic at times, but I think that fits perfectly with your voice (which shows up everywhere). Also, I do agree that those posts are irritating, and I'm glad you decided to use them as your topic. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHahah I really liked this blog, I can definitely see you ranting about this. Obviously, the most protruding thing here is your voice. You're incredible at showing your voice through your writing. I feel the same way about those stupid photographs all over the internet. THANK YOU.
